As a photographer, there are few things more annoying than lugging all of your camera gear somewhere -- only to discover one of those frustrating "No Photography" signs.

But that doesn't stop everyone, as StrictlyNoPhotography.com proves. It's a website dedicated to sharing photographs taken in places where photography is meant to be strictly forbidden.

Describing the site, makers say: "From the inside of the Kremlin to Kensington palace, from art galleries to war zones. Here you can see everything you've ever wanted to see that you're not supposed to."

While many of the images are taken from within art galleries and museums, there are also shots of government building, inside shops and candid portraits.

Images can be searched for by keyword, category or photographer and once you're logged in you can leave comments and gain your own profile page.

So, it's time to dust off your inconspicuous spy outfit and test your surreptitious photography skills. Just don't blame us if you get caught… and remember to turn your flash off.
