The Magnum Photos Agency are responsible for some of the world's best photography, and they're adding to their impressive archive on a daily basis.

Now they've released 'A Year in Photography' a book showcasing 365 photographs from some of their talented snappers who are guaranteed to inspire anyone holding a camera.

The 736 page book presents work by almost 70 photographers - including Robert Capa, Elliott Erwitt, Abbas, Eve Arnold, Raghu Rai, Martin Parr and Alec Soth - each represented by four to five images.

While some of the shots will be instantly recognisable to anyone with a passing interest in photography -- they're some of the most celebrated images of our time -- there are plenty of undiscovered gems too.

A Year in Photography: Magnum Archive is said to reflect what founder Henri Cartier-Bresson himself declared a "community of thought, a shared human quality, a curiosity about what is going on in the world, a respect for what is going on and a desire to transcribe it visually."

The 22cm by 22cm hard-back book features full page reproductions and has a recommended retail price of £22.50.
